Bextra is a prescription pain reliever that is taken once a day to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, painful menstrual cramps, and other painful medical disorders. The drug is a COX 2 inhibitor non-steroidal anti inflammatory medication manufactured by Pfizer and was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November 2001.

There have been reports of very serious and even fatal side effects associated with the use of Bextra. The following are some of these dangerous and possibly deadly Bextra side effects:

• Exfoliative Dermatitis (Erythroderma)
